By creating an account on our platform, you agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of any other party. Our platform reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without prior notice. All intellectual property rights on the platform belong exclusively to us or our licensors.

Liability: We are liable for intent and gross negligence only; any exclusion or limitation of liability for these is void under Dutch law (Art. 3:40 DCC). Our liability for simple negligence is limited to foreseeable direct damage and shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the preceding 12 months. This does not affect your statutory consumer rights under the Dutch Civil Code.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution: These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising hereunder shall be submitted to the competent courts of Amsterdam, unless mandatory provisions dictate otherwise. You may also submit complaints via the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

• Account creation and authentication — performance of contract.
• Security & spam prevention (reCAPTCHA) — legitimate interests (preventing fraud).
• Service improvements & analytics (IP, browser type) — legitimate interests (service optimization).
• Email communications — consent (opt-in checkbox).

3. Data Collected

We collect:

• Identification Data: email address, password (bcrypt-hashed).
• Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information.

4. Recipients & International Transfers

• Google LLC (reCAPTCHA service).
• Our EU-based hosting provider (Microsoft Europe).
• Stripe Payments Europe (payment processing).

Some processing (e.g., reCAPTCHA) involves transfers to the US under EU Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission on June 4, 2021.

5. Retention Periods

• Account data: for the duration of your account plus 5 years after deletion (in line with Dutch record-keeping obligations).
• Logs & analytics: 1 year.
• Emails & support correspondence: 2 years.
